I have been using Carmelinas consistently for around 6 months since moving to the area for my work shirts and suits. The service is brilliant, Darvish is always very welcoming and friendly, the quality of the dry cleaning is great and very well priced. My clothes always come back to me looking brilliant and sharp and not once have I had any delays with when they get done. If anyone is looking for a place to get their dry cleaning done around Shepards bush / West Kensington I could recommend Carmelians more.

Moved into the neighbourhood a few months ago and discovered Carmelinas and it has been my go to ever since. Darvish always makes sure I leave happy...if I ever need something cleaned urgently, they always come through! Highly recommend this place, amazing staff, fast services for amazing value.

I have been using this service for years without issues. What I get on every visit is exceptional and courteous service from Darvitt. I recently took some pairs of trousers for alterations, Darvitt did the alterations to such a professional standard that it is difficult to tell from the original sewing.

I had taken my curtains in for a quote to have the hem shortened. I was conscious that this may be an expensive service and so I wanted to know the price first. I had even stopped by a few weeks before to ask how to get a quote and he had told me that the only way was to bring the curtains in. They are quite heavy to take down and carry and so when I finally got around to it, I was keen to leave them if the price was acceptable. The owner told me to go to the other dry cleaners (there are 2 nearby) and ask them for a quote and then he would give me the best price. I said I didn’t want to do this and asked him what his price was for the service. He refused to quote and insisted that I ask other dry cleaners first and then go back. Either these dry cleaners are all commonly owned and it’s an arrangement between them for one of them to appear to be offering a better price and therefore no one loses OR he is in fierce competition with them. Either way, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth that something wasn’t right and it was a waste of time as I was not about to hawk up and down the street because he told me to.
