Spent £16 to shorten a pair of jeans and the hem has been taken off. Sorry for the 1 star review, but it looks cheap.

I absolutely recommend this place! the customer service is second to none and the attention to detail to all my alteration services is amazing. I use them all the time for trousers, suits, etc., and I am always happy to receive my clothes in excellent conditions. Thank you

I have used this place for years, and since Rena left, the quality and customer service have gone way downhill. I paid for a button to be sewn on to a jacket and it came back unaltered. I went back later and the guy refused to accept responsibility even though the ticket was still pinned into the jacket and wanted to charge me again for the repair, but with £1 off. Any comments are met with extreme negativity. Without Rena, this place isn't worth it - I'm never going back again, which is a shame after all these years.

I was in the area a few months back and desperately needed my coat dry cleaned. It wasn't cheap, £15. However, the coat come back basically the same as it went in. I didn't realise until.i got home, I am not a local. My beige coat was still visibly dirty around the cuffs and there was lots of dark bobles throughout the inside. I had to go and get it dry cleaned again, properly this time, at a different dry cleaners. I do not recommend.

I called here to enquire a price about getting my shorts altered. I was told two different prices on the phone. We agreed on a price and I went there in time for them to be open on my way to work. I had to wait outside for 30 minutes as they were not open, which then almost made me late for work. I told them what I wanted for my shorts and they increased the price to what we agreed on the phone and charged me even more for next day delivery and to be ready before 2pm. I was not happy but I agreed to the price. My shorts were not ready by 2pm, but by 6pm. The man got my shorts and they were out of shape, they were so badly altered and they were dirty. I complained and they said they would fix it free of charge. I said ok and I had to wait over a week for my shorts to come back. They were still not altered correctly and didn’t look like they were even corrected. I phoned to complain and said I wanted to speak to the owner but the owner was never available. The employees kept hanging up on me. They were rude. I said I wanted a refund and they refused even though they have ruined my shorts. They offered a discount on my next alteration. I would NEVER go back here. I took my shorts somewhere else and they were shocked by how bad of a job they did on my shorts. Disgusting customer service. Would never go back here again. They clearly don’t know how to do alterations and clearly can’t clean clothes properly since my shorts came back to me DIRTY.
