I had taken my coat in to be dry cleaned and when I picked it up I noticed that tears in the fabric of the coat had appeared. When I pointed this out, the man behind the counter tried to argue the tears in the fabric were already there even though I specifically inspected the area when I dropped it off and would have seen if there were any tears in the fabric. He proceeded to make up lies about why I wouldn’t have seen the tears previously and became aggressive telling me that my coat was only worth a tenth of the other coats he dry cleaned that apparently cost a thousand pounds. All he needed to do was acknowledge the issue rather than become aggressive when called out. As I became visibly upset at the situation he proceeded to become vicious and said “you’re sad, you’re crying, you are going to pay for it and I don’t want to see you again”. At that point I just paid for it and I left the shop - as a woman on my own I began to feel scared of this man. Unfortunately I will have to avoid this street in the future as I don’t feel safe walking past the shop.

Amazing service every time i been here so far, Helen has be showing excellent customer service & managerial skills, she was also professional in receiving some feedback from me. I highly recommend Red Spot to anyone living locally. i do 10 shirts here every two weeks, great value for money, walking distance from my door step. The negative reviews here are mostly new accounts, i would imagine its the dry cleaners two doors away, its always dead & the managers is mostly sleeping on his seat. Red spot is the best option if you are in Swiss cottage or Belsize Park.

I work next door and let me just say these guys have always come to my rescue with my inability to iron my shirts very last minute. They are great. I even had one of my coats repaired/restored and the job that was done is just beautiful. Great prices and absolutely great customer service!! Highly recommended.
