I visited the shop and requested an alteration service but I was welcomed with some hostile and extremely rude attitude by the man who I believe is the owner of the shop. Never in my life I have met someone so rude. He not only refused to answer a simple question about stitching but also did rude hand gestures and told me that I was wasting his precious time. All I asked was his opinion on the outcome of the stitch. This man should not be running a business where he has to deal with human beings. Clearly he hates it!

I was a customer of this store until my husband came home complaining of how he was treated. He brought in trousers to get tailored for our upcoming wedding, and when he asked a relevant question regarding the service, the owner told his shopkeeper to refuse the service as it would be a “headache”. When pressed, he said customers that ask too many questions are not worth his time. You have a tailoring business, it is your job to be professional. Your rudeness is appalling. I will no longer be taking my clothing here and I suggest you don’t either. But hey, at least you won’t be getting any more headaches from us!

I went to Smart Dry Cleaners to get the hems and the button of my shorts fixed. When they asked if I wanted the shorts cleaned, I explicitly said no. When we went to pick up the shorts today, they charged us £22.50, almost half of which was a cleaning cost. When we told them that this was not the service we asked for they refused to give us my shorts. Ultimately they allowed us to lower the price to £20, which was still extortionate. I will never go back, and I recommend that you do not either.

I got two pairs of trousers altered here and they fit perfectly. Super friendly staff. Took just under a week but high quality service. Will be going back and would definitely recommend if you're not in a rush.
