Really disappointed by the service. Took in some curtains to get dry cleaned. Two pairs had slight sun damage and I was advised that if we dry cleaned it, the risk of further damage was high and so they recommended it went through the washing machine instead. The risk with that method would instead be shrinkage, through unlikely because it was polyester. Was told it would be ready on a specific day, went back for it and was told it would be a week instead. Picked up the curtains a few days later and the shock when I got home. They didn’t mention anything in the shop but the lining was completely ruined. One with slight sun damage came out totally ruined with additional orange sediment which they claim was the lining, even though the lining was clean and white when I took it in, and the other came back with holes in the lining from where it was heated, stuck together and pulled apart and further damaged lining. One member of a staff was defensive from the beginning and told me that there was always a risk of lining damage with the option they proposed. Not true. I took their advice to wash it instead of dry clean because they said dry cleaning will definitely result in further damage while washing would only carry the risk of shrinkage. If washing it carried more risk than dry cleaning, why suggest it? Lastly, they agreed to take them back to try and remove the stains and come back on an agreed date. Got a call on the day to ask what the issue was and that they won’t have time to try again. Taking the curtains here was a costly mistake of £250. This was for a rental property and I’ve had to replace the curtains, which cost the same as the dry cleaning bill. Really wanted to like this place because the owner and two ladies I met were really nice. Just let down by everything else.

Just had a new coat ordered online altered which was far too big for me. Excellent alterations and delighted with the result! Brigitta was also very helpful and inspired me to take the risk of altering the coat. Highly recommend!

The owners are soooo friendly and accommodating! I needed a last minute alteration and they made it work for me! They were super fast and did an excellent job!

I took in my suit for alternations. It cost me £100 and they did a really shoddy job. Within one wear the trouser seam broke , leaving me with a hole exposing my leg. I took the trousers back in for a repair, and the repair was slow. Now, about a month later, the trouser hems are fraying and tearing, and threads are loose and falling out. Despite staff being nice, I am highly disappointed with the service.
